Q: What conditions do you treat?
A: Children with a wide range of conditions will benefit from input from the practice. We specialise in Sensory integration difficulties which may present in isolation or in conjunction with conditions including Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit, Learning Disabilities, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Dyspraxia, Attachment Disorder and Complex Trauma.
We also specialise in neurological conditions including Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, Genetic Syndromes and Acquired Brain Injuries.
Q: Do I need a referral?
A: As we are an independent service you can self-refer directly. Please contact by telephoning 07970352666, or by using the email inquiry submission form found on the Contact page.
Q: How long will I have to wait for an appointment?
A: An initial assessment appointment can usually be arranged within two weeks. We also offer a free 20 minute telephone consultation to discuss your requirements and the services we can provide.
Q: Can my child receive physiotherapy from your practice if they already have, or are on a waiting list for, an NHS physiotherapist?
A: Yes, you may receive both. If other services are involved, regular communication is important in order to provide maximum benefit and continuity of input. It is also beneficial to your child for the practice to communicate with their consultant and GP. This usually takes the form of written assessments and reports.
